What Are Activity Nodes?

Modified on Mon, 25 Sep, 2023 at 5:05 PM

Nodes at the Activity level are the workflow building blocks representing who is doing the tasks (students or the teacher), where the tasks take place (outside of or inside of class), what the student will be doing and in what context. Activity level nodes correspond to the Activity workflow columns.

  • Out of Class (Instructor) node: represents tasks an instructor is expected to do in preparation for a class or after a class.
  • Out of Class (Students) node: represents tasks students are expected to do in preparation for a class or after a class.
  • In Class (Instructor) node: represent tasks an instructor is expected to do in the classroom.
  • In Class (Students) node: represent tasks students are expected to do in the classroom.
  • Adding custom nodes: you can add a fifth node (or more), but you must first create a column (category) where the custom nodes will reside.
