Adding Nodes to an Activity

In a CourseFlow Activity, nodes represent a task to be completed by the students or instructor. Each node must be assigned to a category. To add nodes, ensure that the  “Add to workflow” tab of the Workflow Builder is active. If the tab is not visible, click on the Plus (+) icon to activate it.



  1. Select the node category you want to add to your workflow
  2. Drag and drop the node to the workflow. This action automatically places the node in the corresponding node category column (e.g. an "Out of Class (Instructor)" node will automatically be placed in the "Out of Class (Instructor)" column, etc.).



Once nodes are added to the workflow, you can use the action icons which display when the node is hovered to add a blank node or duplicate a node. 

  • To add a new blank node, hover over a node already on the workflow and click on the Plus (+) icon. This action will insert a new empty node of the same node category below the original node.
