Outcome Table at the Program Level

Modified on Wed, 22 Mar, 2023 at 12:33 PM

The outcomes table, commonly used at the program level, allows you to more easily view the relationships between nodes and outcomes. Note that this view will not be correctly displayed unless the program has both outcomes and nodes.

Nodes are displayed along the columns of the table, and outcomes along the rows. The check marks show whether an outcome has been added to a particular node, and can be toggled by clicking the cell.

Like in the program view, if all sub-outcomes of an outcome are added, the outcome will automatically be added. Conversely, if an outcome has been added and its sub-outcome is removed the outcome will also be removed, though other sub-outcomes will remain.

Individual sub-outcomes can be added as well. If one or more sub-outcomes, but not all, are added, the outcome will show an open circle to indicate that the outcome is partially addressed.

The totals are shown both for each section and for the entire program. If all sub-outcomes are addressed, the totals column will show the outcome as addressed as well.

The bodes section of the tool panel allows the nodes to be sorted either chronologically (by section) or by category (column). For course and activity nodes, sorting can be done by task or context (icon) as well.
