You can share access to a Project with specific users who have a CourseFlow account. This can be useful if you are collaborating on a Project with others to develop a workflow or series of workflows. With sharing, not only do you decide who you want to share your Project and its workflow(s) with, but also their level of access - View, Edit or Comment.
To share a Course:
1. Navigate to the Course you want to share.
2. On the Course workflow page, click on the Person icon (top menu bar) to open the Share Course pop-up.
3. To add collaborators, begin typing in the text box the username or name of the person you want to share your Course with. When the dropdown list of usernames appears, scroll through and select a collaborator.
4. Choose whether to grant them permission to Edit, Comment or View on the Project. It is important to understand the distinction between the three.
- Edit – Users can edit the Course workflow, but cannot delete the Course.
- Comment - Users can view and comment on the Course workflow.
- View – Users can see, but not edit the Course workflow.
5. Once you have selected the right level of permissions, click on the "Share" button.
To remove a collaborator from your project, simply select the "Remove User" option from the dropdown:
When your list is complete, click on the pop-up “Close” button (bottom right). Your collaborators will display on the Course overview under the “Permissions” section.
