Importing Another User's Project to Your Library

Modified on Wed, 27 Sep, 2023 at 3:44 PM

All Projects published within CourseFlow are available to be re-used by other CourseFlow account holders. When you reuse an existing Project it can help expedite your development process. This is especially helpful when a Project is similar to the type of workflow you wish to set up.

Step 1: search for a published Project

  1. From the main navigation, go to the "Explore" section to access the CourseFlow public database library which contains all the published Projects and workflows.
  2. Use the search and filter features to narrow down your search:
    • Search term: this can be the author's name, title of the Project, etc.
    • SALTISE content checkbox: activating the checkbox will return all CourseFlow objects produced by SALTISE.
    • Type: to find a specific type of object (Activity, Course, Program and/or Project).
    • Discipline: to search discipline specific Projects.
    • Relevance: sort your results alphabetically or by date

Once the search criteria is set up, click on the “Search” button to trigger the search.

Step 2: import a [object] to your library

Review your search results  and click on the specific Project you want to import to your library. This action opens the Project page.

On the Project page, click on the 3 Dots icon and select “Copy to my library” from the dropdown menu. This action automatically adds a copy of the Project to your library. A “(copy)” text will be appended to the copied Project title.

Once the Project is copied to your library, you become the owner of the copied Project, and can modify, edit or even delete the Project as needed.
