Using a Template

Once your templates have been created, they can be accessed from any programs, courses or activities of the appropriate level. To do so:

  1. Open the workflow view of the workflow
  2. Click the "Strategies" tab of the right hand panel; a list of your available templates will display
  3. Click and drag your strategy onto an existing section to insert it
  4. Your strategy will now appear as a new section in the workflow, and can be further edited to make it more specific to the given context. If the columns in your template do not match those in the workflow, CourseFlow will attempt to match them, beginning by matching based on default type, then by attempting to match the titles, then finally by adding new columns if necessary; for this reason it is strongly recommended to use the default columns when possible. Please note that modifying the newly created section will not alter the original template, nor will further modifications of the template result in changes to the newly created section.
