Whether you are using the CourseFlow application to develop a workflow for a Course, an Activity or an entire Program, you must first create a Project to house your workflow(s) and learning outcomes.
The Project will enable you to keep all related and/or linked together workflows in one place. For example a Project can contain multiple-level workflows such as a Course workflow, linked to an Activity workflow or just one-level workflow like a Course workflow.
Within a Project folder you can have:
Program level workflow(s): these workflows can be used to design or represent a curriculum, showing the courses within the Program. Workflows of each Course can be linked to the Program level workflow under the same Project. Click here to view an example of a Program level workflow.
Course level workflow(s): these are workflows that can be used to plan an entire Course by providing a means to show the lesson planning flow, course structure, intended learning outcomes, and assessment(s). Click here to view an example of a Course level workflow.
Activity level workflow(s): these workflows can be used to plan a single lesson and or assessment or multiple linked lessons or assessments. Click here to view an example of an Activity level workflow.
Workflow thumbnails within the Project folder are displayed by creation date (default: most recent on top). Workflow thumbnails can be sorted, filtered and searched for.
