December 19th 2022 - Release Notes

Here is a list of features and bug fixes deployed on December 19th.

Features

The following major features have been added to CourseFlow: 

• Live classrooms can now be created from an existing project. Users can be added to these classrooms independently of whether they have access to the original project;
• Students can register for a classroom through a link accessible to the instructors in the student management tab of the classroom;
• Workflows can be made visible or not to those enrolled in the classroom in the workflows tab of the classroom.
• Tasks (nodes) can be assigned to those enrolled in the classroom through the "Assignments" tab of the classroom;
• Users enrolled in the classroom can see their assigned tasks (assignments) and can report completion of the tasks.
  
  

The following minor features have been added to CourseFlow: 

• Comments can now only be viewed by those with commenting or editing privileges on a workflow;
• The “help” button now redirects the user to our help-desk portal;
• An optional notification has been added below menu to inform users of major changes to CourseFlow or bugs. Notifications can be hidden by clicking the close icon on the banner;
• The top menu bar has been adjusted to group common actions together and provide a better user experience; 
• The legend is now available in the competency matrix view. Your browser will remember whether you prefer to have the legend open or closed.

Bug fixes

• A bug has been fixed which prevented users from assigning object sets to nodes when viewing the page in French;
• A bug has been fixed which rendered the dropdown text for the import button invisible;
• Clicking a workflow hyperlink no longer opens the workflow in a new tab or window.
